Terms of Service

Version 1.0 · In effect from 23 September 2026

The agreement

These terms are the agreement between you and Aarambh, of Aditya Complex, Shop No.3, Near Shardageeta Vidhyalaya, 2 - Navrang Society, Oppo. Vadwala Hotel, 80 Feet Road, Surendranagar, Gujarat, India(“we”, “us”), when you use the Aarambh app or this website, or buy a ticket through either. By creating an account or booking a ticket you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not book.

They work alongside our Privacy Policy, our Refund & Cancellation Policy and our Cookie Policy. The refund policy is part of this agreement.

Your account

You need an account to book. It is identified by your mobile number and secured by a one-time code sent to that number — there is no password. Keep control of the number and the device; anyone who can read the code can reach your tickets.

You must be 18 or over to hold an account. The details you give us must be your own and accurate. You may delete your account at any time from your profile; what happens to your data then is set out in the Privacy Policy.

What we sell, and who sells it

We sell admission to events we run or that an organiser lists on the platform. A ticket is a revocable licence to enter the venue for the night it names — it is not property, and it does not entitle you to a particular seat, spot or view unless the listing says so.

The event listing — its dates, its nights, its gate times, its age limit and its venue rules — forms part of what you are buying. Read it before you book.

How a booking is made and approved

Placing a booking is an offer to buy. It is not a completed purchase, and no ticket exists until we approve it. There is no payment gateway on this platform and nothing is charged automatically. The sequence is:

  • You choose your nights and quantity and place the booking. It enters the state “Pending for approval”.
  • You pay, in one of the two ways below, and tell us you have.
  • One of our administrators checks the payment and approves or rejects the booking. Approval is what creates your ticket and its QR code.

We may reject a booking — for example if the payment does not arrive, cannot be matched to your booking, or is for the wrong amount; if the night has sold out or closed in the meantime; or if the booking breaches these terms. If we reject a booking for which you have already paid, we refund what you paid.

There is a limit on how many tickets one account may hold for a single night, shown when you book. Bookings made to work around that limit may be rejected or cancelled.

Payment

You pay us in one of exactly two ways:

  • UPI. Scan the UPI QR code we show you and pay from your own banking or UPI app. The transfer goes directly from your bank to ours. Then send us the payment screenshot on WhatsApp at +91 9316630749, and enter your payment reference in the app, so we can match the payment to your booking.
  • Cash, at our office. Bring the amount due to Aditya Complex, Shop No.3, Near Shardageeta Vidhyalaya, 2 - Navrang Society, Oppo. Vadwala Hotel, 80 Feet Road, Surendranagar, Gujarat, India. This is our office, not the venue where the event is held. They are different places, and nobody at the venue takes payment.

We never ask for your card number, your net-banking login, your UPI PIN, an OTP for a payment, or any other credential, and we never will — by any channel. Anyone who does is not us.

Price

The price shown for a ticket is the whole of what you pay. There is no booking fee, no convenience fee and no service charge, and nothing is added at checkout. Where a discount applies, you pay the ticket price less the discount and nothing else.

No GST or other tax is charged to you on top of the ticket price. Prices are in Indian rupees.

Prices can change, and an organiser may put tickets on sale at a different price later or run a discount. The price that applies to your booking is the one shown when you placed it; a later change is not a ground for a refund of the difference.

Your ticket, and sharing it

An approved ticket is a QR code in the app. Show it at the gate and staff scan it. A ticket admits one person once — once it is scanned it cannot be scanned again, so treat the code like cash and do not post it publicly.

You can share a ticket with someone else from within the app, by sending it to their mobile number. Once they claim it, it is theirs to present and it leaves your account. Sharing is for getting tickets to the people coming with you. Reselling a ticket, for profit or otherwise, outside the app is not permitted, and we may cancel a ticket we find has been resold.

At the venue

Entry is subject to the venue’s rules and to the law. You may be refused entry, or asked to leave without a refund, if you:

  • arrive after the gates close for that night;
  • cannot present a valid, unscanned ticket, or cannot show identification when a ticket’s name or an age limit requires it;
  • carry a prohibited item, or refuse a security check at the gate;
  • are intoxicated, or behave in a way that endangers or harasses other people or staff.

Follow the instructions of event staff, security and the police at all times. We may film or photograph the event for our own records and promotion; if you are identifiable and want the image removed, write to info@aarambhsurendranagar.com and we will remove it where we reasonably can.

Changes and cancellation by us

An event may be changed or cancelled — for weather, for a licence or permission being refused or withdrawn, for a police or municipal order, or for anything else outside our reasonable control. If a night is cancelled, or postponed and you do not want the new date, the Refund & Cancellation Policy sets out what you get back. Changes to line-up, running order or individual performers are not a cancellation.

Using the platform properly

You agree not to:

  • use another person’s account, or give false details about yourself;
  • forge, copy, alter or duplicate a ticket or a QR code, or present one you know to be invalid;
  • script, scrape or automate bookings, or try to place more bookings than the per-night limit allows;
  • interfere with the platform, probe it for weaknesses, or try to reach data that is not yours.

We may suspend or close an account, and cancel its tickets without refund, where we reasonably believe any of this has happened. The app and this website, including their text, artwork and software, belong to us or our licensors; you may use them to buy and hold a ticket and not for anything else.

What we are and are not responsible for

We are responsible for providing the admission you paid for, and for refunding you where the refund policy says we must. We take reasonable care to keep the platform working, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for a failure of your phone, your network, your bank or your UPI app.

Except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, our total liability to you in connection with a booking is limited to the amount you actually paid us for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including travel and accommodation costs you incur for an event that is cancelled or changed.

Nothing in these terms affects the rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be contracted out of.

Grievances

If something goes wrong, contact us first — most things are fixed fastest that way. Our grievance officer, named under rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and section 13 of the DPDP Act, is:

  • Grievance Officer: Ayushi Masiyava
  • Email: info@aarambhsurendranagar.com
  • Phone and WhatsApp: +91 9316630749 (WhatsApp)
  • Post: Aarambh, Aditya Complex, Shop No.3, Near Shardageeta Vidhyalaya, 2 - Navrang Society, Oppo. Vadwala Hotel, 80 Feet Road, Surendranagar, Gujarat, India

We will acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days.

Changes to these terms, and the law that applies

This is version 1.0. Each version carries a number and a date at the top, and we record which version you accepted. If we change these terms materially we will ask you to accept the new version before you book again; the version you accepted governs bookings you already made under it.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Surendranagar, Gujarat have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
