Cookie Policy
Version 1.0 · In effect from 23 September 2026
The short version
We set six cookies, all of them strictly necessary to sign someone in and keep them signed in. We set no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies of any kind, and there is no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting service anywhere in this product — not on this site, not in the attendee app, not in the staff tools.
That is why you have not been shown a cookie banner. Cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver a service you asked for do not require consent, and we have nothing else to ask you about. If that ever changes, this policy changes first and you will be asked properly.
If you are just reading these pages, or browsing events without signing in, no cookie is set at all.
The six cookies
All six are httpOnly, which means no script on the page can read them — including any script that should not be there. They hold a session token and nothing about you: no name, no number, no browsing history.
| Name | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
| nn_organizer_token | Keeps an organiser signed in to the console. Carries the short-lived access token. | 35 minutes |
| nn_organizer_refresh | Lets an organiser stay signed in across days without signing in again. | 55 days |
| nn_signed_out | Records that an organiser deliberately signed out, so the session is not handed straight back. | Until you sign in again |
| nn_admin_token | The same as the first, for a platform administrator signed in to the admin panel. | 35 minutes |
| nn_admin_refresh | The same as the second, for a platform administrator. | 55 days |
| nn_admin_signed_out | The same as the third, for a platform administrator. | Until you sign in again |
What else is stored on your device
The landing page remembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme, in your browser’s local storage. That is a preference you set, it never leaves your device, and it is not a cookie — nothing is sent to us with it.
The Aarambh app on your phone stores your sign-in token on the device so you do not have to sign in every time you open it. That is app storage, not a cookie, and signing out or deleting the app removes it.
Turning them off
Your browser can block or clear cookies for this site, and clearing them signs you out. Because all six exist only to keep you signed in, blocking them does not remove any tracking — there is none — it just means you cannot stay signed in.
